Flashes: Legends of the Fall Banquet, September 23, 2017

Flashes: Legends of the Fall Banquet, September 23, 2017
The “Brothers Boys” are an exclusive fraternity of men who have donned the purple and gold gridiron uniform during the 105 years of football at St. Aloysius High School. Through the decades, many families have seen multiple generations take the field in the name of the Flashes.
Though separated by time, these men are forever united by a common bond. Their team work, discipline and commitment have brought recognition to their alma mater and pride to their community. They have created a a rich history of taking on much larger opponents and yet producing staggering results.
For the first time ever, the Brothers Boys of all ages gathered for a one-night reunion event. This historic occasion was a dinner gala to celebrate our heritage and to raise funds in support of St. Aloysius football program.
Featured Speakers:
- Delvan Irwin ‘85, author of “The Brothers‘ Boys: Saint Aloysius High School Football History 1912-1986.”
- Michael Fields, Head Coach, 2017 campaign.
- Eddie Ray RB ‘61-65, All-SEC at LSU, 6 Year NFL Career with the Boston Patriots, the San Diego Chargers, the Atlanta Falcons, and the Buffalo Bills.
- Andy Bourgeois ‘56, member of the undefeated LSU 1958 National Championship Team; Head Coach at St. Al ‘61-64, and 11 seasons as offensive coach for the NFL Houston Oilers.
